- describes a noun or pronoun and agrees with its gender, number and case.
- it asks questions: jaki? jaka? jakie? (what kind) czyj? czyja? czyje? (whose) który? która? które? (which one)

1. Jaki? – we use ‘jaki’ when we want to talk about a type of item in a more general sense, for example: Jakie torebki ci się podobają? (What kind of bags do you like?) Podobają mi się duże torebki. (I like big bags.)
2. Który? – is more specific, we use it when we want to select or point to a particular item, for example: Która torebka ci się podoba? (Which bag do you like?) Podoba mi się zielona torebka. (I like the green bag.)

- An adjective is subject to case declension, for example: Ania ma białego kota. (Anna has a white cat.) Kota here is in the accusative case, hence, the adjective that precedes it will also be in the accusative case. 💡When you ask a question (interrogative adjective), it also needs to agree with the case of the noun used in the question, for example: Jaką kawę pijesz? (What kind of coffee do you drink?) Piję czarną kawę. (I drink a black coffee.)
